Provide classroom instruction for up to 9 hours/week under the supervision of and in collaboration with the Director of IEP. Assist Director with curriculum development, lesson planning and student assessment. Plan and facilitate activities for IEP students outside the classroom that contribute to their English Language learning. The IEP is a not-for-credit program.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position

Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics, TESOL or related field or successful completion of 18 graduate credit hours in a related discipline.

Minimum Qualifications

At least 2 years ESL/EFL teaching experience in an academic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Fluency in a second language, overseas teaching experience.
